Shawn Pfaff, 54, is the President of Pfaff Public Affairs a government relations contract lobbying firm that represents the interests of several state-wide in the State Capitol.  Prior to more than 15 years of lobbying, Pfaff worked for three and a half years in the Office of Governor Jim Doyle as an Agency Affairs advisor from 2003 to 2006 and as the Deputy Campaign Manager for Doyle’s successful 2006 re-election campaign. He also worked as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill in Washington DC from 1997 to 2000.


Pfaff grew up on a dairy farm (his parents are still on the now grain farm) in northern La Crosse County and received a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison's La Follette School of Public Affairs in 2002 and an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1994. He is also a Realtor with First Weber Realtors and an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. He served as the Mayor of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, for two terms from 2011-15 and continues to live there with his wife Monica and their beloved dog – Macy.
