Ehren Bittorf has served as Supervisor for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDOT) Oversize Overweight (OSOW) Permit Unit since 2020. The OSOW Unit issues over 80,000 permits annually to the freight industry encompassing various commodity load types ensuring safe, effective, and efficient movement of over dimensional and overweight loads throughout the State of Wisconsin. He also serves on multiple State and Regional freight focused committees and is presently Chair of the Highway Transport Committee for the Mid America Association of State Transportation Officials (MAASTO-HTC). 

Ehren has worked at WisDOT since 2015 and has an extensive history in the freight community. His background includes serving as the former supervisor for the Motor Carrier Registration Unit at WisDOT with the remainder of his career working in the private sector in trucking.
