Daniel Smith is the program manager for the Nutrient and Pest Management Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension. Daniel received B.S. degrees in Soil and Crop Science and Agribusiness from UW–Platteville and an M.S. degree in Agroecology (weed science emphasis) from UW-Madison. Daniel is also Certified Crop Advisor. Daniel provides statewide research and outreach on cover crops and troublesome waterhemp management.
